1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the WeatherDetails mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

These Terms apply to all users of the App, regardless of how it is accessed or on which device it is used.

2. License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on a device you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

This license does not include the right to:

• Distribute, sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the App
• Modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Remove any copyright or proprietary notices from the App
• Use the App to develop a competing product or service

3. Permitted & Prohibited Use

You may:

• Use the App for personal, non-commercial weather monitoring purposes
• Search for weather data for any location worldwide
• Share weather information displayed in the App through your device's standard sharing features

You may not:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App's backend services
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to extract data from the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App or its related services
• Represent the App's weather data as your own original data or research

4. Weather Data Accuracy

The weather, air quality, and UV data displayed in the App is sourced from third-party APIs (including Open-Meteo and the World Air Quality Index). We make no representations or warranties as to the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or timeliness of this data.

Weather forecasts are inherently uncertain. You acknowledge that:

• Forecasts may differ from actual conditions.
• The App is intended for general informational purposes only.
• You should not rely solely on the App for decisions involving safety, travel, health, or emergency planning.
• We are not liable for any harm, loss, or damage arising from reliance on weather data displayed in the App.

5. Third-Party Services

The App relies on the following third-party services to deliver its core functionality:

• Open-Meteo — weather forecast data
• World Air Quality Index (WAQI) — air quality data
• Nominatim / OpenStreetMap — geocoding and location search
• Google Play Services — App distribution and updates

These services operate under their own terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of these third-party services. Service interruptions from third-party providers may affect App functionality.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, source code, graphics, animations, and all content created by us, is the intellectual property of the developer and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

Weather data displayed in the App is provided by third-party services under their respective open data licenses (e.g., Open-Meteo uses Creative Commons Attribution 4.0; OpenStreetMap data is © OpenStreetMap contributors under the ODbL license).

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Warranties as to the accuracy or reliability of weather data

Your use of the App is at your sole risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
• Personal injury or property damage caused by reliance on weather information
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
• Interruption or cessation of the App's availability

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim (which, given the App is free, shall be zero).

9. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices.

10. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

We also reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App (or any feature thereof) at any time without notice or liability.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice or liability, if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
